Woman Found Fatally Shot On Shore In Bridgeport

The body of a person who was shot and killed was found on the shore in Bridgeport on Sunday and police are asking the public's help in identifying her.

The woman's body was found near the launch ramp at Seaview Avenue and Newfield Avenue.

The woman's body was located near the launch ramp at Seaview Avenue and Newfield Avenue, officials said.

The 10th homicide victim of the year in the city is described as being white, between 25 and 40 years of age, heavy set, wearing a blonde, braided wig with a scarf attached and with multiple tattoos and body piercings.

She was wearing blue jeans, a brown sweater and short, black shoes.
